Pinup Competition Terms and Conditions 2025

Each entrant is required to carefully read these Terms and Conditions before completing the application form . Upon application, the entrant agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions to be considered for finalist selection.

Rules and Regulations

  • All entrants must be 18 years of age and over.
  • Completed application forms must be attached at the time of the application to be eligible for finalist selection.
  • By submitting the application, all entrants agree to have their photograph taken unless otherwise stated, with the potential to be used in media for following Rockynats events. If you do not wish for your photograph to be used in media or promotional material, please seek the advice of one of the organisers prior to the event.
  • Finalists will be chosen at the discretion of the Selection Panel and all decisions are final.
  • All eligible finalists will receive a 3-Day Pass to the Rockynats event in order to ensure access to the competition.

 

Itinerary Commitments

  • Rockabilly-nats is a 3-day event – upon submitting their application, all entrants must be willing to participate across the full weekend unless previously discussed with one of the organisers.
  • There are two rounds of judging in this competition: a fashion look and a performance.
  • On Sunday the 6th of April at 10:30am, finalists must present to the main stage of the Showgrounds to ready for the competition. Finalists will take the stage at 11am until approximately 12pm.
  • Entrants are asked to dress according to their interpretations of the theme “Hot in the Tropics”. This outfit will be demonstrated via a catwalk presentation. Points are awarded to costuming that is detailed, well structured and unique. Points may be deducted from entrants who do not dress to theme.
  • The second round of the competition will be the performance of a skit. This skit or routine may be choreographed to the theme, or demonstrate unique talents and abilities of the entrant. Points will be awarded for uniqueness, audience engagement, and performances that are well rehearsed and refined.
  • There will be very limited time back stage to transition between the second and third rounds of judging – it is therefore suggested that entrants wear one costume on the day of the pageant or arrange their own means of changing.
  • There will also be awarding of a people’s choice award. This award will be given to the finalist who has the most combined interactions (likes and comments) on the CQ Pinups announcement page. Interactions will be tallied from the moment of posting to 10:30am on Sunday the 6th – to be awarded at 11am along with Ultimate Winner and Runner Up. There will also be an award for Pin Up’s Pinup – the finalist who demonstrates a positive and helpful attitude backstage.
  • Adjacent to the awarding of titles, there will be photo opportunities across the weekend. A Facebook group will be established to arrange details for these opportunities if they should arise.

 

Code of Conduct

  • As representatives of the Rockabilly-nats Pin Up Competition, each entrant will be expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times during the Rockynats event. This includes events that you may attend as a spectator.
  • Rockynats is a family friendly event, and as such nudity and lewd behaviour are strictly prohibited. Any such behaviour will result in disqualification from the contest and potential eviction from the event, as well as the forfeiture of any and all prizes and titles won.
  • Entrants will not slander or negatively comment on the pageant, other contestants, Judges, Rockynats Management or Staff, or anyone else involved with, or connected to, Rockynats. Entrants will not engage in any defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against Event Organiser’s, nor the Rockynats event or any social media platforms. If this occurs it will result in immediate disqualification, as well as forfeiture of any and all prizes and titles won.
  • All submissions will be deemed to have read the Terms and Conditions and agree to all as contained herein.
