Rare Spares Rockynats 05 Bigger and Better Than Ever

The streets of Rockhampton will once again come alive with the sound of roaring engines, squealing tyres and rock anthems when Queensland’s largest car and bike festival returns to the city bigger and better than ever from April 4-6, 2025. With an explosive line-up that features all your fan-favourites (think burnouts, street drags and show ‘n’ shine) combined with plenty of brand-new off-the-track entertainment options, this year’s event promises to be Rare Spares Rockynats’ biggest celebration yet.

While the full program and entertainment line-up is yet to be announced, here’s an exclusive sneak peek at some of our new favourite additions.

Friday is Family Fun Day!

Fun family experiences are guaranteed to be at the forefront of this year’s program, kicking off with a Friday full of family entertainment at the Showgrounds. Bike fans will be in for a special treat with daily freestyle motocross (FMX) shows, which will be guaranteed to keep audiences of all ages on the edge of their seat. Don't forget kids 12 years and under are free entry with a GA ticketholder. 

All-New Little Tokyo Zone in the Drift Precinct

Arguably one of the most exciting additions to Rockynats 05 is the Little Tokyo Zone, a two-day experience that’ll combine Asian street food, high-octane drift car action and the brand new Hardtuned JDM Showcase in the Drift Precinct. Don’t miss the Drift Cadet precision drift manoeuvres alongside an array of Asian street food vendors who will be serving up delicious dishes to fuel the fun Saturday and Sunday.
