Autoglym announced as 2025 Rockynats Presenting Partner

The countdown is officially on for Queensland’s largest car and bike festival, Rare Spares Rockynats 05, and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever with the announcement of Autoglym as the event’s presenting partner for 2025. This exciting new partnership adds a touch of prestige to an event that continues to captivate motorsport fans and families alike.

Autoglym, a globally renowned name in premium car care products, has been helping car enthusiasts achieve a showroom finish for nearly 60 years. Known for their superior washes, polishes, and waxes, Autoglym’s partnership with Rockynats reflects a shared passion for car culture and community.

Rockhampton Mayor Tony Williams welcomed the announcement, saying:

“We are thrilled to officially welcome Autoglym as our 2025 sponsor for Rockynats. This partnership will enhance the overall experience for entrants, spectators, and patrons alike. Having a major sponsor of this calibre not only boosts the event’s prestige but also helps us promote Rockynats on a national scale.”

“We’re looking for next year’s event to be the biggest and best we’ve had and having Autoglym on board is a significant part of achieving that goal,” he added.

With over 1500 entrants already registered and four months still to go, Rockynats 05 is shaping up to be the second-largest car festival in Australia. Andy Lopez, Co-Owner of Summernats, highlighted the incredible momentum:

“We’ve already got 1500 entrants locked in, with cars coming from all over Australia — from the local region to the entire eastern seaboard. This year’s event will see over 200 burnout entries, thrilling drifting action, an epic show and shine, and more than 1200 cars and bikes rolling through the street parade.”

“Rockynats is now the second-largest car festival in Australia, and it’s only taken five years to get there. With Autoglym’s support, we’re aiming to make this the most memorable event yet,” he said.

Zac Garven, Tourism and Events Manager at Rockhampton Regional Council, is encouraging festivalgoers to secure their tickets early, especially with the Super Early Bird Sale in full swing:

“Our Super Early Bird sale is live until January 6th, and it’s the perfect Christmas gift idea. The first 1,000 ticket buyers will receive an exclusive merchandise pack and go in the draw to win an unforgettable drift experience,” Mr Garven said.

“Accommodation is booking fast, but we’ve got camping available from just $42 a night. Our Platinum Passes are also flying off the shelves, with a third already sold, so don’t miss out!”

Autoglym’s Passion for Car Culture Shines Through

Speaking on the motivation behind Autoglym’s involvement, David Turney, Head of Marketing at Autoglym Australia and New Zealand, shared his excitement:

“Autoglym is a car care brand built by car lovers, for car lovers. Partnering with Rockynats — a festival that showcases such a diverse range of cars and motorcycles — just made sense. We’re driven by the passion of car enthusiasts and being part of this vibrant community is what fuels us.”

Turney added that Autoglym’s team is looking forward to connecting directly with attendees:

“We’re excited to see the incredible variety of cars and bikes at Rockynats and meet the passionate people behind them. This is our first time at Rockhampton’s Rockynats, and we’re planning something special for our fans, so be sure to come and say hi.”

Autoglym’s presence at Rockynats will give attendees the chance to learn more about their cutting-edge car care products, from washes and polishes to waxes and detailing essentials. With nearly 60 years of experience, the brand’s products are trusted by car enthusiasts and professionals worldwide.
