Transport & Parking
FREE SHUTTLE BUSES
Event shuttle buses will be in operation to transport patrons between all precincts approx. every 15 minutes.
Patrons must present their Rockynats wristband for access to this free service.
Shuttle buses will be operating during the below hours:
- Friday 4 April 1.30pm - 10.30pm
- Saturday 5 April 9.30am - 10pm
- Sunday 6 April 10.30am - 7pm
TIP! Look out for the giant wavey inflatable man at each Shuttle Stop or check the maps in the Rockhampton Events app.
TAXI
Temporary taxi ranks have been created at each event precinct near the Shuttle Bus stops for pick up and drop off.
- Northside Burnout Precinct | Goodsall Street near Reaney Street Closure
- CBD Precinct | Gate 1 - Archer Street across from East Street and Gate 2 - Alma Street after the William St round about next to Green Brothers
- Showgrounds Precinct | New Exhibition Road(Existing rank)
FREE WATER TAXI
A free water taxi is available for VIPs, Entrants, Buddy's and Platinum ticket holders between the CBD Precinct and the Burnout Precinct on Saturday 6 April and Sunday 7 April 2025.
NEURON SCOOTERS
The bright orange Neuron E-Scooters will make travel between Rare Spares Rockynats Precincts a breeze! There will be allocated Neuron Scooter parking bays at each precinct.
Spectator Parking
- Buddy’s Fire Burnout Precinct | $5 donation parking at Rockhampton Cricket Grounds (on Goodsall St access via Lakes Creek Rd). Limited priority parking for VIPs, Entrants and Platinum ticket holders.
- Showgrounds Precinct | Free on-street parking
- CBD Precinct | Free on-street parking and free parking at 135 Alma Street carpark
Illegal parking, or parking causing an impediment for a local resident to access their home or business will be monitored and will result in a fine or the vehicle being towed (at owners expense).
Accessible Parking
There are a number of accessible parking spots available at all precincts outside the Road Closure.
Patrons must clearly display a current Government issued Disability Parking Permit to access these parking spots. Accessible parks will be monitored and enforced by Council Local Laws Department and will be signed appropriately.
